Moss Opal Pendant Description

This amazing stone has inclusions of Manganese oxide which gives the appearance of moss and can also look like petrified wood. The black or dark grey ‘moss’ patches contrasted with the pearl white opal creates a really interesting picture. Also known as dendritic opalite. Its proper name is “Merlinite”. It is not actually opal but has properties similar.
