Woher kommen sie?

Dunkle und schwarze Opale stammen hauptsächlich von Lightning Ridge. This one is a fossilized stone that has been carved into an undulating shape and is more crystal than dark. It comes from the Coocoran field near the Ridge and has been carved using diamond dremmel tools so that the precious opal is exposed for the best effect.

Beschreibung This beautiful piece flashes just about all colors and yet it is quite translucent so that you can look deep into the stone. The theme color is green but it is set against a backdrop of yellows, oranges and flashes of blue.
