Opal earring description:
‘Tiara’ style is a part of our ‘insignia’ range of jewelry. The center stones are in claw settings, allowing as much of the opal color to be shown.
Shipping: We recommend DHL for a faster and more reliable service. it costs more but we include a free opal pendant which more than makes up for the cost.
The opal in these earrings:
Opals are all different so it sometimes takes a lot of time to match stones from large parcels of opals. These earrings are nicely matched and you can select from our range of Tiara pendants if you want a complete set.
This particular set is dearer than our normal Tiara because the stones are exceptional, having been selected out of a large parcel. At times we run out of this line but we can usually find stock that will be near identical. We guarantee your satisfaction of course.
Triplet opals are made from crystal opal that has been cut into thinner slices and backed by a black background. The stone is protected with a clear crystal high domed cap that protects the stone and amplifies the color so that the effect is very dramatic. Triplet opals, although much cheaper than black opals, often exhibit more dynamic color than black opal.
The crystals in the ‘tiara’ at the top of these drop earrings are selected CZ stones which are nearly as hard as diamonds and will never lose their luster.
