Opal Ring Description
The center stone has been set with a plain bezel of 14k yellow gold.
The Black opal in this ring is from old stock. Currently very little black opal is being found. The price for a rare stone like this set in 14k gold bezel is very cheap.
Black opal rings are often out of the reach of most people’s pockets, but the beauty of opal is two pronged. Not only is it probably the most unique stone in the world because of its change of color, but there are endless varieties intensities, shapes, sizes and patterns.
Black opal rings come in lots of degrees of darkness. The ones that are not so dark in the background are more affordable and yet the dramatic color that is reflected is still outstanding, as in the case of this little beauty, nicely contrasted with yellow gold metal of the ring and priced to be affordable.
Strong patterns of green-blue emanate from deep inside the stone, creating an enduring fascination, every time you look at your Black Opal Ring, or it is seen on your finger. The dark color of this stone reflects and contrasts nicely with natural skin color, or with a lighter outfit.
