opal ring- Black stone with set of three stones from Lightning Ridge
Cluster of matching opals in sideways setting.
Black Opal Ring Description….
Strong patterns of green blue emanate from deep inside the stone, creating an enduring fascination. The dark color of these stones reflects and contrasts nicely with natural skin color, or with a lighter outfit.
Black Opal is an often misunderstood term. It means that the background of the stone is black or dark in contrast to crystal opals which dont have a black background and are often quite translucent. The dark setting of this natural wonder gives it a strength of character and brilliance.
